LaMelo Ball will have NBA scouts traveling across the globe to see him – Jonathan Givony | The Jump

Jorge Sedano, Malika Andrews and Jonathan Givony discuss the 2019 NBA rookies who are most likely to get playoff minutes, with Tyler Herro (Miami Heat) and Grant Williams (Boston Celtics) mentioned. They then (1:57) discuss the college freshmen most likely to fill Zion Williamson’s shoes, with James Wiseman (Memphis), Cole Anthony (North Carolina) Nico Mannion aka “Red Mamba” (Arizona), Anthony Edwards (Georgia); and why so many top prospects — including Theo Maledon, Deni Avdija, RJ Hampton and LaMelo Ball — aren’t in college this season.

  1. There's a quote I recall from Spongebob that I think we should all be reminded of any time someone from the ball family gets a lot of hype…

"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson Old Man!"

  2. Don’t understand why humans treat other humans as gods. Who gives a fuck what sport you good at you still shouldn’t be making more than first responders or teachers.

  3. Im grateful that these players are willing to come to Australia for at least one season! I hope this continues in to the future! What a cracking opportunity to see the potential superstars of the game in our backyard. Jono brings valid point about time difference but fair go mate! LaMelo will return to US after one season anyways so you will get to see him prime time. I love american sports especially NBA and MLB but with time difference, most NBA games usually start around 10am, midday and 2.30pm. Makes me day in the office go faster!
