USAB Men’s National Team vs. Australian Boomers Team Exhibition | August 24, 2019

Behind 30 points (13 in the 4th quarter) and 3 assists from Patty Mills, Australia defeated the United States by a final score of 98-94 in game 2 of this two-game exhibition series. Andrew Bogut added 16 points (7-8 FG) and 9 rebounds for Australia in the victory. Kemba Walker led the United States with 22 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3pt FG) and 4 rebounds, while Harrison Barnes tallied 20 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3pt FG) and 6 rebounds in the losing effort. The United States will face Canada in their next exhibition contest in Sydney, Australia on Monday, August 26th at 5:30am ET on NBA TV and Twitch.

  1. Not trying to take anything away from Australia but there is no way Australia wins this game without multiple very good NBA players and 3 NBA champions with Patty Bogut and Delly. While team USA only had Harrison Barnes. They can have all the young talent they want to but Australia simply has a more veteran team

  2. All this talk about the weak USA team. They are all stars in the top league in the world. You don’t see Australians talking about how they are not playing their A team: Simmons, Exum, Bolden, Maker and Broekhoff.

  3. If Kemba Walker isn't that good I don't mind if we lose in the world cup. I hate the Celtics more than I like the World Cup. I do like that we're bringing our B team. It makes for more entertaining games. This was a good game.
